Options Employment (North) Ltd are currently looking for a Site Engineer to be based in Fife. The Client My client delivers best-value design, engineering and construction solutions to provide communities worldwide with safe drinking water and effective wastewater management. The Job Role Reports to Site/Sub Agent Attend regular site meetings and contribute as a member of the management team Understand programme requirements, organizes work in accordance with programme, input into weekly programme and monitor progress against programme Responsible for efficient use of materials Maintain labour relations and morale, liaise with Project Manager/Agent over operatives' grievance and disciplinary procedures Responsible for organising plant and labour attendance on sub-contracts Responsible for carrying out site induction training, assessing operative skill levels and monitoring performance Input into toolbox talks Responsible for implementing safe working practices on site, and for developing operatives' safety awareness Contributes to risk assessments, method statements and the specification Maintain a tidy site, responsible for labour, plant and materials movements around site Liaise with Agent/Sub Agent over small tools, PPE and consumables and responsible for monitoring use on site Interface with Client's Representative on site, and maintains good communication liaison and relationship Carries out duties/functions under Company Quality and Safety Management Systems Maintain records of labour and plant times, responsible for completing allocation sheets Requirements Suitable safety qualification ie IOSH, CITB CSCS card or equivalent Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma First Aid Certificate (4 day) Water / Waste Water experience Driving License The Next Stage For further information on this position and all other opportunities in the Construction industry, please contact Jenny Callan on 0141 285 6800 or email jennifer.callan@optionsemployment.com
