Options Employment (North) Ltd are currently looking for an Estimator based in Ayrshire. The Client My client is one of the countries leading construction specialists, with a turnover approaching £90M. They have an extremely successful track record of delivering projects, which demonstrates experience, capability and reliability. They have experience across the entire spectrum of market sectors, including retail, commercial, industrial, residential, leisure, health and education. From supermarkets to PFI schemes, with projects ranging in size from £3M to £30M. The Job Reporting to the Commercial Manager, in the position of Estimator you will be flexible and adaptable, as you will be pricing within the typical value range of £3m to £30m in a number of different sectors. My client does not carry design managers, therefore the Estimators are required to liaise with the design teams and similarly, become involved in the pre-construction activities with project and contract managers leading them through the design process. Involvement is crucial in this role; this is not a desk job. We are looking for an individual with estimating experience within a Building/Construction environment, common sense, good communication skills, as well as technical aptitude.
