Options Employment (North) Ltd are currently looking for a Building and Civil Engineering Site Technician in the Murrayshire area. The Client My client is part of the Facilities Management branch of a larger Group who enjoy a turnover in excess of £220m. They operate from locations throughout Scotland and provide an extensive range of services in their delivery to their customers. Highly skilled personnel deliver Strategic Estate Management which includes provision of hard and soft facility services, fully supported by a well resourced intelligent help desk and key professional services. The Job A vacancy has arisen for a Building and Civil Engineering Site Technician based in Murrayshire, working with the MOD. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for the satisfactory completion of all planned and response maintenance on Site(s). Including any subsequently approved work items. Responsible for technical and site specialist input to the Core Services/Core Works planning. Responsible for ensuring all works carried out on site are to the required standards and in line with current policy and procedures. Provide specialist advice on airfield pavements to staff. Project management of airfield works as required by the management team. Supervise and advise the client's airfield supply chain. Professional Qualifications Relevant experience in maintenance and minor works operation In-depth Health and Safety knowledge and experience of Facilities Management. Minimum HNC in civil engineering or equivalent Experience of Managing People and Project Management would be desirable.
